Employer Advisory Board
Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Bradley University Smith Career Center Employer Advisory Board is to enhance employment outcomes by providing a forum for employer representatives and university stakeholders. Board members and participants achieve this purpose by building relationships, evaluating services, and implementing best practice solutions.
We Build Relationships By
- Including a diverse group of employer representatives and university stakeholders
- Facilitating discussions during scheduled board meetings, typically held in November and April
- Engaging members throughout the year to encourage campus involvement and event participation
We Evaluate Services By
- Analyzing outcomes data to inform best practices
- Discussing current issues in recruiting and career development
- Reviewing marketing strategies
We Implement Best Practice Solutions By
- Collaborating between employer representatives and university stakeholders
- Developing student and employer focused programming
- Establishing goals that align with available resources
